A combination of direct diesel injection and turbocharging allows the 2.0 liter TDI® clean diesel engine to deliver an impressive 236 lb-ft. of torque and produce 140hp. The six standard, second-generation airbags provide an additional measure of safety. They include front-impact airbags for the driver and passenger and are designed to help protect the head. Seat-mounted, side-impact airbags for the front seat occupants are designed to help protect the thorax in a collision. And the side-curtain airbags offer front and rear occupants head protection in the event of a side collision or rollover.
